Car photography is a bit like good tuning - you don't do it "just so" to have something, but to feel the character.

My job as a photographer is to show the car or motorcycle as you experience it – not just a piece of metal, but something you care about, invest in, and enjoy.
This page is the hub – here I gather everything in one place about:
-
professional photography of cars and motorcycles
-
car photoshoot in Sofia

-
photos for sale, advertising, car dealerships and personal projects
If you need someone to photograph a car, motorcycle, or an entire fleet, here you will find out how I work and what you can expect from a photo shoot with me.
What exactly is “automotive photography”?
Automotive photography is not just about “seeing the whole car.”
It is a combination of:
-
light (natural, urban, headlights, reflections)
-

A black Audi S5 with tuning and ROMANO graphics is photographed in a three-quarter angle on a lit boulevard in front of a modern glass building - professional nighttime automotive photography by Simeon Salov with an emphasis on the aggressive look and rims.
-
lines (silhouette, flared fenders, rims, interior)
-
environment (city, parking lot, industrial area, nature)

-
detail (logo, emblem, leather stitching, brake, engine)

A phone can “snap” a moment, but it can’t control the light and feel.
Professional car photography is all about selling the idea of a car – whether you’re actually selling it or just wanting to see it “right”.
Who is this service for?
I work with both private clientsand:

-
car dealerships
-
detailing studios and tuning services
-

A close-up detail shows a black Audi S5 sports rim and the red ROMANO autogas foil with a honeycomb structure – an emphasis on design and tuning, captured by automotive photographer Simeon Salov.
-
people who just love their car and want a cool car photoshoot
Typical scenarios:
-
You are selling a car and want photos for your adthat will stand out among all the "snapped photos in front of the block".
-
Do you have a tuning project, restoration or rare modelthat deserves attention?
-
You own a car dealership or service center and you need good staff for your website, social media, and advertising.
-
You want a photo shoot with your car or motorbike – not just sheet metal, but also man + machine.
How does a car photo shoot go?
In short: we talk – we plan – we shoot – we deliver.
1. Conversation and Idea
First we specify:
-
What car/motorcycle will we photograph?
-
What will the photos be used for?
-
announcement
-
website / advertisement
-
personal project / portfolio
-
-
What vision are we pursuing?
-
night city car photography
-

A black Audi S5 with a ROMANO gas system is parked on a boulevard in Sofia with its hood open, and a model in a black dress is leaning over the engine - a dynamic nighttime urban car photoshoot, shot by Simeon Salov.
-
daytime photoshoot in a parking lot / nature
-
focus on details, interior, engine
-
This is the time to show me an example – from a favorite movie, Insta, or just say:
“I want a style like [the Audi S5 car photoshoot]” or
“I like the feel of [the VW Golf 2 GTI G60 album].”
(These two are linked to the albums for Audi and Golf.)
2. Location and time
I very often shoot in Sofia, around:
-
modern business buildings
-
parking lots and roofs
-
industrial zones
-
city boulevards at dusk
It is important:
-
to have space – for the car to "breathe"
-
not have too much visual noise
-
the light to work for us:
-
golden hour (sunset)
-
blue hour (just after sunset – a favorite for nighttime car photography)
-
If the car is more special – tuned, retro, classic – we look for an environment that suits it.
3. Car photography – what are we filming?
I usually take a full set of shotsso you have everything you need:
-
General plans – front, back, side, 3/4
-
Details – emblem, rims, taillights, headlights, hood, exhaust
-
Interior – steering wheel, dashboard, seats, gear lever, interior details
-
Engine – if there's something to see, we show it proudly
-
Shots with a person – if you want to be in the photos (or a model)
For an ad, it is important that the car is well displayed and honest.
For advertising and portfolio , we bring in more atmosphere: traffic, lights, urban environment, night shots.
Why take professional photos of your car if you're just selling it?

Because online, it's the pictures that sell, not the text.
People:
-
first. the picture

-
Then I count the pictures

They only read the description
Professional photography of a car for sale gives you:
-
more ad views
-
higher trust ("he tried hard, so he took care of the car")
-
a chance to sell faster and not drop the price unnecessarily
It is especially important for:
-
more expensive cars
-
rare models, retro cars, tuning
-
car dealershipswho want all listings to look equally good
Automotive photography for car dealerships and businesses
If you have a car dealership, service center, detailing studio, or tuning garage, you can easily organize your brand visually:
-
Facebook / Instagram covers
-
photoshoot of several representative cars
-
shots "before/after" (detailing, foiling, ceramics)
-
team photos + location
Here we are already talking about car photography for advertising, not just for an ad.
You can link from here to the page "Services - Car Photography for Sale and Advertising", if we make one.
What about the bikes?
All of the above applies to motorcycles too – there’s just less sheet metal and more character.
In motorcycle photography, we often work with:
-
with model or owner
-
with more creative compositions – low angles, fashion feel
-
with art processing if desired (sepia, "light leak", film look)
These are shots that you can safely use for:
-
personal profile
-
social networks
-
club / motorcycle group
-
ad for saleif you are going to part with the bike
You can put an internal link to the Harley-Davidson motorcycle album with a sentence like:
"You can see examples in my Harley-Davidson motorcycle photo shoot."
Where do I shoot and how can you find me?
My base is in Sofia, but if necessary, I can travel to other cities by negotiation.
Typically, filming a car takes about 1 hour (depending on the number of shots and locations), and then you get:
-
selected shots
-
processed in my style
-
ready for:
-
website
-
social networks
-
announcements
-
print if necessary
-
If you want to talk about a specific car / motorbike, the easiest way is to write to me through the Contacts or call me directly.
I don't just photograph cars

Finally – why me?
I won't promise you "10 times more sales" because that depends on the car, the price, and the market.
I can promise you something else:
-
we will prepare the photo shoot like people – location, time, vision
-
I will shoot with the idea that it will work for you – not "art for art's sake", but meaningful shots
-
you will see your car the way you feel it – as more than just a machine
If this is the direction you are looking for – welcome to my world of automotive photography.
