In the world of photography, paper is the final step – the place where the digital frame comes to life. I recently had the unique opportunity to peer into the “heart” of the industry, capturing the workflow and leadership at the base of one of the pillars of printing in Bulgaria – “Poligrafsnab” AD.

More than 70 years of history

"Poligrafsnab" is not just a paper company, it is an institution. Founded in 1951 as a state-owned enterprise for supplying the printing industry, the company has gone through all the transformations of the Bulgarian economy. Today, decades later, they remain an undisputed leader, distributing materials from the world's largest manufacturers.

It was an honor to capture the leadership and dynamics at the company's base. When you shoot in an industrial environment, among massive machines and tons of paper, you feel the weight of a tradition that powers almost every publishing and printing house in our country.

The business portrait in its natural environment

Filming the head of Polygraphsnab next to the machines and in the heart of the base was a purposeful decision. As a wedding photographer Simeon Salov, I always look for authenticity. In the corporate world, this means showing the leader where decisions are made and where value is created.

Industrial photography requires precision in detail, from the texture of paper to the metallic sheen of machinery. This sense of composition and light in vast warehouse spaces is the same skill that helps me see the beauty and scale in every event I photograph.

The memory of paper

In the age of screens, Polygraphsnab AD reminds us that the physical touch of quality material is irreplaceable. Seeing the path of paper from the huge rolls to the final product is an inspiring experience, which I have captured in these shots.

My work with leaders like Polygraphsnab AD reminds me that the quality of the final product depends on every single detail along the chain – from choosing the right paper to the precise focus of the lens. This pursuit of perfection in filming machines and business processes is the same one I bring to reporting on the most important personal events.

Whether it's a large-scale industrial facility or the intimate atmosphere of your celebration, my goal is one - to turn the moment into a lasting memory on the highest quality paper.
