A warm, peaceful ritual at the foot of Vitosha Mountain – here I capture the entire solemnity of an Orthodox baptism: from the lighting of the candles and the anointing, to the family portraits in front of the church. I work discreetly, capturing the emotions of the godparents and relatives, the details of the clothes and the tender moments with the baby.
As a photographer, I believe that every event in a family's life is part of a bigger story – from the first wedding, when a new home is laid, to the first baptism, which gives a child a spiritual path, and then the joyful children's birthdays, which reunite relatives and friends.
